Charge indicator light description

 

The module can roughly judge the working state by two LED states, CHRG is red light, STDBY is blue light. When the battery is charged, the red light is on and the blue light is off. When the battery is fully charged, the blue light is on and the red light is slightly on. If there is a boost output, depending on the output power is different, it is possible to charge the red light - straight bright, not connected with no load, blue light, red light slightly.


The module supports type-c interface input and solder joint input marked behind the input. Choose one or the other. The recommended voltage is about 5V. The module is labeled with two outputs that are the same, and the lines are parallel, so you can choose one of them. The following focuses on connecting the battery.

 

If your battery comes with a protection board, you can choose our package without discharge protection. After B+ and B- are connected to the battery, it must be short connected to T point before charging and discharging.

 

If your battery does not take protection plate, choose the package with discharge protection, this is very important, because the battery discharge is likely to cause battery scrap, similar competitive products are mostly without discharge protection, battery connected B+ and B-, can not be short T point, otherwise the discharge protection will fail.

After connecting the cable, you can use the screwdriver to adjust the output voltage you want.


Battery selection is 3.7V lithium battery, full voltage is 4.2V, battery type can be 18650, polymer battery.


Instructions for use

* Product for linear charging, heating is normal, rest assured to use

* Batteries can only be connected in parallel, not in series.

* Charging current is the best battery capacity 0.37C, is the capacity of 0.37 times such as 1000mAH battery charging current 400 so it is enough.

* The charging connection wire should not be too thin or too long. This connection resistance is high. If it is too thin, the battery voltage will drop more.

* Good contact with battery connection. Otherwise, after flushing the battery voltage will drop more.

* It is normal to heat up when the current is large during booster operation. The larger the current is, the hotter it is, which is a normal phenomenon. The chip with overheating protection can be used safely.

Description of charging indicator:

How to connect the battery:
