Please receive this module and leave it in the environment with humidity greater than 80% for 12 hours to ensure the accuracy is restored.
AHT21, a new generation of temperature and humidity sensor produced by ASAIR, Aosong Electronics, is embedded in a dual-row flat leadless SMD package suitable for reflow soldering, with a bottom surface of 3x3mm and a height of 0.8mm. The sensor outputs a calibrated digital signal in a standard I²C format.
The previous version of AHT20 Temperature and Humidity Sensor also provides Industrial Grade features of improved MEMS semiconductor capacitive humidity sensor and a standard on-chip temperature sensor. The output is the I2C protocol with the Grove interface.
Temperature and humidity sensors are most common in various scenarios such as home appliances, medical care, industry, transportation, smart agriculture, smart farming, meteorology, infrastructure, smart homes, and smart properties. Let’s take a look at this new solution based on the AHT21 sensor and talk about its chip, specifications, and compatible application scenarios.
Specifications Comparision of AHT21 and AHT20
Compare with AHT20, AHT21 can detect a wider range of temperature from -40℃ to +120℃. AHT21 also has a smaller size, the height has been compressed to 0.8mm.
