The PT4115 is a continuous inductor current conduction mode buck constant current source for driving one or more series LEDs . The PT4115 has an input voltage range of 6 volts to 36 volts and an adjustable output current of up to 1.2 amps. Depending on the input voltage and external components, the PT4115 can drive up to tens of watts of LEDs . The PT4115 has a built-in power switch that uses high-side current sampling to set the average LED current and accepts analog dimming and a wide range of PWM dimming through the DIM pin . When the voltage of the DIM is lower than 0.3 volts, the power switch is turned off, and the PT4115 enters a standby state with extremely low operating current.

The PT4115 includes power switch and a high output current detection circuit, and used for an external resistor to set the nominal average output current, and a dedicated DIM input, no matter what DC voltage or pulse light modulation range. Applying a series of voltage of 0.3V or lower DIM turns off the output pins, and switch a low current standby equipment. The PT4115 is available in SOT89 5 package

At present, PT4115 practical lighting module can provide three driver modules of 1 piece of 1W (green), 3 piece of 1W (blue) and 1 piece of 3W (red). The sample module can do switch test with halogen bulb for 100000 times, in the same brightness of halogen lamp, power consumption can be reduced by half.
