Gas Sensor MQ5 Analog LPG For Arduino
The MQ5 Gas Sensor module is useful for gas leakage detecting. It can detect LPG, i-butane, methane, alcohol, Hydrogen, smoke and so on. The sensitivity can be adjusted using the on-board potentiometer, and you'd use this sensor by reading the analog pin to which it is connected. Please use these sensors only in controlled experiments! Combustible gases and fumes are very dangerous! Here are details for some MQ gas sensor.

Description
The Grove - Gas Sensor module is useful for gas leakage detecting(in home and industry). It can detect LPG, i-butane, methane, alcohol, Hydrogen, somke and so on. Measurements can be taken as soon as possible based on its fast response time. Also the sensitivity can be adjusted by the potentiometer.

LPG gas sensor, CH4 Sensor, and C3H8 Gas Sensor with long lifespan and low price for domestic gas leakage alarm.
Sensitive material of MQ-5 gas sensor is SnO2, which with lower conductivity in clean air. When the target flammable gas exist, the sensor’s conductivity gets higher along with the gas concentration rising. Users can convert the change of conductivity to correspond output signal of gas concentration through a simple circuit.
MQ-5 gas sensor has high sensitivity to butane, propane, methane and can detect methane and propane at the same time. It also can detect kinds of flammable gases, especially LPG(propane).It is a kind of low–cost sensor for many applications.
It is widely used in domestic gas leakage alarm, industrial flammable gas alarm and portable gas detector.
